Precision Surface Grinders
SPINDLE
- The spindle is directly coupled with V-3 motor which ensures spindle run out within 0.00008" (0.002mm).
- The precision cartridge spindle, greased & free of maintenance, is incoporated with 4 pieces of preloaded SKF class 7 (P4) super precision angular contact ball bearings for heavy grinding.
- Elevating movement is driven on V-type slideways, the backlash can be adjusted to match the precise movement between leadscrew & worm gear. The drive shaft is supported by two bearings for smooth and noise free operation.
STRUCTURE & WAYS
- MEEHANITE CASTING base, column and saddle ensures rigidity, high accuracy and durability.
- Table flatness within 0.0001".
- Cross slideways adopt “double vees” to ensure the best accuracy.
- Both longitudinal & cross slideways are precision ground & hand-scraped. Turcite-B coating ensures smooth movement and wear resistance.
OTHER FEATURES
- The automatic lubrication system is standard equipment and provides ample lubrication on all slideways and leadscrews enabling smooth movement and minimizes wear.
