HIGH SPEED PRECISION LATHE
STRUCTURAL FEATURES
The slideways between the saddle and bed are TURCITE B coated, which reduces the friction, reduces power consumption and providers smoother manual operation.
TAILSTOCK
Rigid tailstock structure and clamping mechanism are the result of design emphasis on heavy duty cutting load.
METRIC / INCH GEARBOX
No need to replace change gears when switching between inch system and metric system.
BEDWAYS AND BASE
The one-piece casting base and bedways are designed to distribute cutting load and reduce vibration.
RIGID, LOW NOISE HEADSTOCK
Headstock gears are made of Cr-Mo (Chromium Molybodenum) steel that underwent heat treatment and precision ground. Backlash value is adjusted to ensure high accuracy, high strength and low noise.
HIGH RIGIDITY SPINDLE
The spindle is mounted on three-point support, which consists of high precision taper roller bearings to endure radial and axial load. The spindle is designed with optimum bearing span analysis and proper preload arrangement to maintain spindle stiffness and lower thermal displacement.
ANTI – WEAR SLIDWAYS
Slide ways of saddle and cross-slide are applied with “Turcite B” coating and hand scraped; slide ways of bed are treated with ground and induction hardening to assure high accuracy and lower wear rate.
